Purchased the 7 inch version of the rail for a new AR15 build and am pleased with the quality of the rail. The finish is as good or better than rails that cost much more. This is my first AR pistol (7 1/2" barrel) build and it looks great with this rail. Trying to keep it light weight without a lot of "stuff"on the weapon. The build includes flip up sights and a green laser, and that's it. With this new rail it looks clean and functional. There was a problem with the length of the ejection door pin. The rail has a recessed area that mates up to the door pin, however the rail did not seat correctly because the door pin was 1/8" to long (c-clip end). I removed the pin and thirty seconds with a drimmel and problem solved. Such little effort to fix that I left the 5 star rating. I just wish I'd of waited to buy because it went on sale a week after I purchased it. Either way, very happy with the product.
