Per Vltor’s website: “PLEASE NOTE:
Due to our Lifetime Warranty, we advise that you not remove or attempt to remove your shell deflector. The shell deflector is pinned in place during factory assembly. Our Lifetime Warranty covers all of our products as long as they are not modified in any way (i.e. disassembly).”

The Noveske MUR does not have the relief cut like the VLTOR MUR-1A for handguards which feature anti-rotation methods requiring an M4 Upper Receiver profile between the barrel nut threads and the top rail. We believe this is an important area to have reinforced for rigidity. All Noveske handguards are compatible.
