 The Geissele Super Duty MOD1 Upper (Complete) represents the latest advancements in weapon technology exclusively from Geissele Automatics. This 10.3” complete upper is chambered in 5.56mm and features a nanoweapon-coated HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD muzzle device attached to a 10.3” Manganese Phosphate-coated, Cold Hammer Forged (CHF), Chrome Lined barrel with a 1-7 twist. Geissele's precision machining and cold hammer forging take place at their state-of-the-art facility in North Wales, PA. The upper also includes a carbine-length gas tube and Geissele Super Compact Gas Block for bomb-proof installation, ensuring reliability and optimal performance, even in extreme conditions.

The Geissele Super Duty MOD1 Upper (Complete) comes with a new 9.3” Super Modular Rail MK16, designed with a center-aligning tab to eliminate rail rotation. This rail is a variant of the highly regarded 13.5” SMR MK16, in use by USASOC and praised by operators for its performance and comfort.

Additionally, the upper includes the Geissele Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group (BCG), featuring Nanoweapon coating. The BCG comes with a chrome-lined gas key properly torqued and staked. The Cam Pin, made from H13 medical steel and also coated with Nanoweapon, offers maximum corrosion and wear resistance. Extended upper rails on the Geissele Reliability Enhanced BCG enhance stability and significantly improve feeding reliability.

The Geissele Stressproof Bolt, part of the BCG, is made from Carpenter 158+ steel, developed in collaboration with Carpenter Steel metallurgists to ensure a cleaner and less impurity-ridden material. The Stressproof bolt is forged, not machined from barstock, optimizing the grain structure for increased strength and fatigue resistance. Each bolt undergoes rigorous inspection, high-pressure testing, mag particle inspection, and Nanoweapon coating, ensuring enhanced durability and longevity, capable of five times the life of a mil-spec bolt.
