CGS Hyperion 762 QD

The CGS HYPERION 762 is a precision rifle silencer designed specifically with 7.62 mm ammunition in mind, up to and including 300 RUM.The patent pending proprietary technology unique to CGS Group LLC rifle silencers is unlike anything the firearms industry has ever seen before. This unique design allows for peak sound reduction and extreme reduction in flash signature as well as minimal and repeatable point of impact shift.

The CGS HYPERION is constructed of 3-D printed titanium. Recent research and testing has concluded DMLS produced titanium and other similarly produced alloy components can actually exhibit uniformity of their grain structure that is superior to that of traditionally produced alloy structures. This results in a stronger and more durable silencer. Thanks to enhanced gas flow and fluid geometry, which vents gas expediently to the outer annulus of the suppressor, the Hyperion exhibits higher durability not typically characteristic of titanium suppressors.

The CGS Hyperion is a rifle suppressor built for impressive sound reduction. At just 15.6 ounces, with a 9.5-inch length, the Hyperion is constructed of titanium for a light weight yet highly durable silencer. This CGS suppressor also boasts a 1.75-inch diameter, also leading to its noteworthy sound attenuation.

Featuring two separate front end caps, a low profile front end cap and a vented end cap (not included), the CGS Hyperion is optimized for precision shooting. CGS’s design allows for even left handed precision rifle shooters using semi auto host firearms to comfortably shoot due to its reduced blowback. This CGS silencer also includes shallow taper joints which allows for optimal concentricity and retention. Between its durability, modularity, and sound reduction truly make the CGS Hyperion shine.

The Hyperion is threaded in 5/8x 24 and will properly direct thread onto any barrel that is threaded in 5/8x24 and has a machined 25 degree taper. A Hyperion Thread Adapter is required to properly seat a Hyperion onto any barrel with a 90 degree shoulder. The only exception is if the crown of the barrel is .736 inches or wider.
