Exacting construction and rigorous durability are the standard for every weapon system that comes off the line at BCM. BCM Professional Grade Weaponry are hard use tools, built to perform in combat where unfailing performance is the only standard for men and machine.

The BCM® UPPER RECEIVER is precision machined from 7075-T6 aluminum forgings and hardcoat anodized per MIL-A-8625F, Type III, Class 2 for maximum durability. It features a M4 feed ramp flat top with laser T-markings and a mid-length gas system for improved reliability. The BCM® BOLT CARRIER GROUP is made from MIL-SPEC Carpenter No. 158® steel and is HPT/MPI tested and shot peened for added strength. It includes a tool steel extractor with a BCM® extractor spring and a black extractor insert. The chrome lined carrier (full auto profile) and chrome lined gas key are hardened to USGI specifications and secured with staked grade 8 fasteners per MIL-SPEC.

The barrel is 14.5 inches (16 inches pinned) with a standard government profile and 1/7 twist, M4 feed ramp extension, and chrome lined bore and chamber. HPT/MPI tested per MIL-SPEC.

The BCM® LOWER RECEIVER is also machined from 7075-T6 aluminum forgings and hardcoat anodized for durability. It includes a low shelf for RDIAS installation and Accuwedge use, fire controls marked SAFE and SEMI, a BCM® Milspec 7075-T6 receiver extension, staked M4 lock nut and USGI H buffer. The BCM® BARREL is independently certified to MIL-SPEC 11595E standards and features a manganese phosphate barrel finish.
